    **Job Title:** Certified Welding Inspector

     

    Pay- $28hr

    Job Description:

    The inspector will interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating testing equipment, performing visual inspections (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to identify defects in products. The inspector will also oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance.

    + NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

    + Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI)

    + Quality inspection

    + Blueprint reading

    Top Skills:

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + Current AWS-CWI certification

    + Certification in MT and UT (ASNT-TC-1A) preferred; training available for certification

    + Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

    This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
