    Sr. Lease Accountant

     

    Hopkins, MN

    Job Description:

    + Manage lease agreements and related financial data, including rent schedules, deferred rent, and prepaid rent.

    + Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure accurate lease documentation and compliance.

    + Communicate with landlords regarding lease terms, payments, and adjustments.

    + Maintain accurate records of lease obligations and ensure timely reporting.

    + Support month-end and year-end processes related to lease accounting.

    + Identify and implement process improvements for lease accounting workflows.

    Qualifications:

    + Proficiency in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, journal entry, and reporting.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

    + 5+ years of directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.

    + Experience with preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliation, etc.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
