The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
General Comments SASED is need of and SLP - CF or SLP-A.
They are open to both full time and part time candidates. Will be able to use coverages however it works best for SBP based on location and ages
in need of an SLP in a variety of locations including:
+ 2 classrooms at Willowbrook High School
+ 1 classroom at Addison Trail High School
+ 1 classroom at Maercker Intermediate School
+ 2 classrooms at PrairieView Elementary School
also have several maternity coverages that will be needed after January. So if anyone is looking for something more temporary, the following location will also be available.
+ 4 classrooms Holmes Primary School
+ 2 classroom at Anne M Jeans Elementary School
+ 1 classroom at Kingsley Elementary School
+ 2 classrooms at Westmont Jr. High
