In this role of a Social Worker, you will provide direct care clinical back-up to social workers at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. Under limited supervision Social Workers promote a timely return to the community through the development of a comprehensive discharge and aftercare plan; incorporating utilization management principals, risk management, and continuity of care. Care, treatment, and services are provided through the successful coordination and completion of a series of processes that include appropriate initial assessment of needs; development of a plan for care, treatment, and services; the provision of care, treatment, and services; ongoing assessment of whether the care, treatment, and services provided are meeting the patient’s needs, and either the successful discharge of the patient or referral or transfer of the patient for continuing care, treatment, and services.
Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC) is an inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults with mental illness in a large, campus-based setting. The population also includes individuals civilly committed for specialized care, such as competency for criminal court (Rule 20), emergency 48-hour bed holds, and co-occurring mental illness/chemical dependency. Located just 15 minutes north of the Twin Cities metro, this modern facility offers compassionate, person-centered care in a pleasant environment appreciated by patients and employees alike.
Minimum Qualifications
Clinical Program Therapist 3
+ Bachelor's degree in social work; AND
+ Licensure by the State of Minnesota to practice as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW); AND
+ Three (3) years of post-bachelor's degree experience providing clinical services.
OR
+ Master's degree in social work; AND
+ Licensure by the State of Minnesota to practice as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) OR Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW); AND
+ One year of post-master's degree experience providing clinical services, including individual and group therapy and interventions.
