    As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Your primary duties will involve:

     

    + The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.

    + The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.

    + Communication skills are essential for this position.

    Job Requirements

    In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + BLS issued from the American Heart Association

    + 6 months experience working in patient care environment, required.

    + Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of AlliedHealth Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.

     

    Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

    Pay Range

    $17.00 - $23.82 /hour
