Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive on their feet throughout the workday and be open to cross-training in various areas of our operations. This role involves a comprehensive 12-step process, where you will contribute to the refurbishment and assembly of products.

Responsibilities

+ Document received parts and items during the Receiving process.

+ Perform Factory Resets by manually pressing a button.

+ Conduct Automatic Tests by plugging in up to 32 units to identify repair needs.

+ Execute Wi-Fi and Elevated temperature tests.

+ Perform Cosmetic Cleaning and Repair of products.

+ Conduct In Process Quality Control (IPQC).

+ Assemble kits and prepare them for Pack Out and Pallet Build.

+ Ensure accurate shipment of products.

+ Scan parts at every step of the process.

Essential Skills

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Comfortable standing for the entirety of the day.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with team members.

+ Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Hand dexterity.

+ Punctuality.

+ Experience with assembly, repair, and quality inspection.

+ Familiarity with test equipment, RF scanners, and power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new facility built specifically for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located near major roads, gas stations, and restaurants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
