Lead the Lab After Hours – Evening/Night Shift Supervisor
Ready to take charge and keep the lab running smoothly during critical hours? We are looking for a **Laboratory Supervisor** to guide our **evening and night shift teams (preferred worked shift: evening hours)** and ensure everything stays on track.
Responsible for oversight of after-hours lab operations across multiple sections:
+ Chemistry
+ Hematology
+ STAT Microbiology
+ Blood Bank
+ Pre-Analytical Services (phlebotomy, specimen receiving/processing, referral lab)
This role is all about supporting the team, solving problems fast, and maintaining quality and compliance. Will be the go-to person for troubleshooting and keeping workflows efficient, while also contributing to training/competencies, process improvement projects and planning.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Director of Laboratory Services, the Supervisor provides leadership to the Laboratory staff and oversight for the operations of the lab. Serves as a facilitator, organizational liaison, technical advisor and mentor for the staff. Problem solves and resolves issues related to staffing and operations. Manages the financial requirements for designated laboratory programs. As part of the Laboratory Leadership Team, participates in departmental improvement and strategic planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Clinical Lab Scientist License
At least 6 years of full time laboratory experience, of which not less than 2 years have been spent working in a designated specialty
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree
Experience as a supervisor in a hospital laboratory, with at least one year experience with high-complexity testing
Knowledgeable in business practices and marketing
The current salary range for this position is $58.38 to $80.28
