    BayCare is currently in search of our newest **Medical Office Representative** who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare’s top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

     

    + **Status:** Fulltime

    + **Shift Hours:** 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (May Vary)

    + **Shift Days:** Monday thru Friday

    + **Location:** Required to travel throughout Pinellas and Pasco County

    + **Weekend Work:** None

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    + Supports front desk operations in a busy physician's office

    + Performing all duties related to revenue cycle operations

    + Check-in/check-out

    + Collecting payments

    + Scheduling appointments

    + Handling patient inquiries

    + Scheduling procedures/surgeries

    + Entering orders, and utilizing various computer programs to manage schedules

    + Handle patient issues

    + Record patient information and various other administrative support duties

    + Role requires utilizing multiple computer systems, multi-tasking, critical thinking skills to track, follow up, and ensure task completion

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    + Required 6 months of healthcare

    + Or 6 months of Customer Service

    + Required High School or Equivalent

    + Highly preferred physician office experience
