• Maintenance Technician Supervisor

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

    _IMMEDIATELY HIRING_

    _*This is a working supervisor role that will assist the maintenance department as well as lead._

     

    We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery within industrial sites. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will be adept at dismantling equipment for repair or transportation and reassembling it efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and repair drawings.

    + Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.

    + Perform maintenance on hydro and pneumatics systems.

    + Handle electrical systems up to 480 V 3 phase; collaborate with the electrician group for advanced controls.

    + Conduct hoist maintenance and work with speed loaders.

    + Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, focusing on mechanical and electrical maintenance.

    + Service and maintain break presses, with attention to pumps and dies.

    + Perform maintenance on miscellaneous equipment including table saws, rollers, lathes, and occasionally golf carts.

    + Execute heavy preventive maintenance work and handle automated plasma cutters.

    + Write purchase orders and provide support when needed in the shop.

    + Work rotating Saturdays, approximately 2-3 times a month.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

    + Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.

    + Experience with welding, particularly stick welding.

    + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.

    + Ability to use hand tools and fabrication techniques.

    + Familiarity with 3-phase electrical systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficient in math.

    + A digital background to handle maintenance on digital presses.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an industrial atmosphere with a detached, climate-controlled maintenance shop. Safety is a priority; hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, ear protection, and reflective vests are required. Candidates need their own tools, but larger equipment will be supplied. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and Saturdays from 6 am to 1:30 pm on a rotating basis.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
