    Job Title: Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a Production Worker, you will perform tasks on the production line, including running equipment, inspecting, stacking, separating, counting, and packing products. You will conduct quality checks and accurately record relevant information. Additionally, you will monitor machinery and equipment to ensure all products meet performance specifications and requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform work on the production line.

    + Run equipment and inspect products.

    + Stack, separate, count, and pack products.

    + Conduct quality checks and record information accurately.

    + Monitor machinery and equipment operation to ensure products meet specifications.

    + Ascend/descend stairs and ladders to access machinery and equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + 6 months to 1 year of production experience.

    + Ability to keep up with machine production rates.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Entry-level position (0 to 2 years’ experience).

    + Willingness to work hard and learn new skills.

    + Capability to work in high/precarious places and with moving machinery.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a manufacturing and production environment, which may include exposure to high/precarious places, moving machinery, and marked changes in temperature and humidity. The environment may also include dust, odors, and fumes, and is generally loud. Production workers will work indoors and be part of a team of about 90 people per shift. The dress code includes shorts or jeans, a clean work shirt, and steel toe or composite shoes. Shift options include A/B Shift (6:45 am - 6:45 pm), C/D Shift (6:45 pm - 6:45 am), Days (6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Mon-Fri), Nights (10:30 pm - 7:00 am, Sun-Thurs), and Mids (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Mon-Fri) with shift differentials offered.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.79 - $18.54/hr.
