Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Electrical Assembly Technicians to join our team for the medium voltage shift. You will be responsible for electrical assembly of various drives and electric transformers, working in a collaborative team environment. This position involves bench assembly, typically focusing on the same drive for the entirety of the shift.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical assembly of various drives and electric transformers.

+ Follow work orders and learn schematic reading for future tasks.

+ Work collaboratively in teams of 2-4 using various hand and power tools.

+ Complete bench assembly tasks, focusing on large drives throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ 2+ years of assembly (mechanical or electrical) experience from the same company.

+ 1+ years of blueprint or schematic reading experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams or wire diagrams.

+ Experience with soldering, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and electrical wiring.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit, and brand-new manufacturing facility during 2nd shift hours: 3:00pm - 1:00am, Monday through Thursday. The facility requires wearing steel-toed boots and safety glasses. The US headquarters is expanding and plans to add 1200 jobs in the next 8-10 years.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.27 - $20.07/hr.
