Warehouse Worker -- Weekly Pay -- Overtime

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in building orders according to load tickets and operating manual or powered pallet jacks. You will be responsible for manually lifting and moving products to restock and repack, staging completed pallets, and keeping track of inventory with accurate counts. During your time in this role, you will use an electric pallet jack and complete picking tasks using a headset system rather than paper or scanning. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and involves managing approximately 500 SKUs in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Build orders according to load tickets.

+ Operate manual or powered pallet jacks.

+ Lift and move products to restock and repack.

+ Stage completed pallets.

+ Keep track of inventory with accurate counts.

+ Use electric pallet jacks.

+ Complete picking tasks using a headset system.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months in a physical work environment.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs+.

+ Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts.

+ Clear communication in English, essential for using vocollect headsets.

Work Environment

The warehouse environment can be warm, with heating in winter and no air conditioning in summer, which can lead to hot conditions. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 10 am to 7/8 pm, depending on when tasks are completed. The team consists of 25-30 members, and the dress code is casual, allowing for jeans or shorts, t-shirts, and closed-toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
