Job Title: Lapping Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. Our company is a leader in the semiconductor industry, specializing in the manufacturing of wafers and sensors. The role involves operating wafer dicing and wafer lapping equipment with a focus on precision and detail. You will also handle automatic wire bonding equipment, perform micro-assembly onto chips, and conduct quality control verification and documentation. The position requires the use of microscopes and various testing, measuring, and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate wafer dicing and wafer lapping equipment with high precision.

+ Use automatic wire bonding equipment.

+ Perform micro-assembly onto chips.

+ Conduct quality control verification and documentation.

+ Utilize microscopes and other testing, measuring, and inspection equipment.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of experience machining high precision and tight tolerance components.

+ Quality verification and documentation experience.

+ Proficiency with microscopes and other measurement tools.

+ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

+ US Citizenship to meet ITAR requirements.

+ Attention to detail and experience with precision materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in wafer dicing or lapping is ideal.

+ Soldering experience is a plus.

+ Wire bonding experience is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

Enjoy working in a remarkably clean environment led by a PhD owner with an R&D-like atmosphere. Our culture encourages wearing many hats and taking initiative. The workspace includes a machine shop area, cleanroom, lab area, and general assembly area, all of which are clean and somewhat quiet. Standard shift hours are 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime available. While we prefer a consistent schedule, there is some flexibility in hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hugo, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
