    Job Title: Cleanroom Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Cleanroom Technician where you will work on a rotating schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, and 3 days off. You will have the opportunity to work either the morning shift from 6am to 6pm or the night shift from 6pm to 6am. This is an entry-level position with room for growth within the company.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor and oversee 2-3 machines producing plastic caps.

    + Do not intervene with machinery; instead, notify a lead if a machine malfunctions.

    + Conduct visual inspections of plastic caps every two hours to ensure quality standards.

    + Ensure plastic caps do not have rough edges and meet quality expectations.

    + Manage bins on scales, replacing them once they reach the desired weight.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of stable work history.

    + Ability to lift 35 lbs.

    + Comfortable working in a loud environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in packaging or inspection is advantageous.

    + Familiarity with rotating shifts.

    + Production or manufacturing experience.

    + Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled, clean production facility that is part of a large organization with a rich history of manufacturing plastic caps for household products. The environment is loud due to machinery, but safety measures such as ear protection are in place. Employees have access to lockers and are provided with uniforms upon becoming permanent. Safety gear including hair nets and ear buds are required in the production area.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
