Special Education Case Manager – High School

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Paid Breaks

Contract: ASAP through End of School Year

What You’ll Do

+ Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in grades K–12 (focus on high school caseload).

+ Collaborate with general education staff to ensure successful inclusion and individualized learning plans.

+ Serve as a Special Education Case Manager, leading IEP development and implementation.

+ Monitor student progress, prepare IEP report cards, and maintain compliance documentation.

+ Coordinate schedules for students and staff based on LRE grids.

+ Step in to cover classes when needed

+ Maintain strong communication with families.

What We’re Looking For

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred).

+ Certification: Valid state teaching certificate (Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement required).

+ Experience: At least one year in a teaching environment (preferred).

+ Additional Requirements:

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health certificate per state regulations

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Minimum age: 18
