    Sonographer - Maternal Fetal Medicine (Part-Time)

     

    Schedule: Part-Time (.8 FTE) | 32 hours/week | Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

    What You'll Do

    + Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist in accurate medical diagnoses.

    + Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and easing concerns.

    + Assist physicians with invasive procedures while adhering to universal protocol standards.

    + Ensure accurate coding, documentation, and image archiving for all exams.

    + Maintain high-level disinfection standards for devices and equipment.

    + Utilize advanced ultrasound instrumentation and demonstrate expertise in scanning techniques.

    + Correlate patient history, lab data, and physical findings to optimize imaging results.

    Qualifications

    + Education:Completion of a formal Ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.

    + Licensure & Certifications:

    + Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Registered or registry-eligible preferred.

    + Completion of Physics portion of registry preferred.

    + Must obtain RDMS within 12 months of hire.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

    + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting (with renewal)

    + Act 33 (with renewal)

    + Act 34 (with renewal)

    + Act 73 FBI Clearance (with renewal)
