Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support water, wastewater, stormwater, and environmental infrastructure projects through both design and construction phases. This role ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget while collaborating closely with clients, engineers, and sub‑consultants. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, inspections, and preparing or reviewing technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and permits.
+ Manage project budgets and schedules to meet client expectations.
+ Mentor junior staff and provide leadership to project teams.
+ Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
+ Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
+ Collaborate with clients, engineers, and sub‑consultants to achieve project goals.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in water, sewer, or environmental infrastructure projects.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
+ Ability to obtain E.I.T certification if not already held.
+ Experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ P.E. license preferred.
+ 5+ years of experience in water, wastewater, sewer, or environmental infrastructure projects.
Work Environment
This position involves approximately 90% in‑office work and 10% onsite at project sites. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $110.00/hr.
