    About the Role:

    As a Painter in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products meet high-quality standards through precise and efficient painting techniques. Your work will directly impact the aesthetic appeal and durability of manufactured goods, contributing to customer satisfaction and brand reputation. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint coatings, and finishing products using both manual and spray painting methods. Additionally, you will manage inventory related to painting supplies and operate packing and shipping equipment to facilitate smooth workflow. Safety and attention to detail are paramount, as you will also be required to safely operate forklifts and adhere to all workplace safety protocols.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Proven experience in painting within a manufacturing environment.

    + Certification or demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift.

    + Basic knowledge of packing and shipping equipment operation.

    + Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with spray painting techniques and equipment maintenance.

    + Familiarity with inventory management systems.

    + Previous training in workplace safety and hazardous materials handling.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or paint specifications.

    + Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure proper paint adhesion.

    + Apply paint using spray painting equipment according to specifications and quality standards.

    + Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products safely within the manufacturing facility.

    + Manage inventory of painting supplies and packing materials to maintain adequate stock levels.

    + Use packing and shipping equipment to prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged.

    + Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines and procedures.

    Skills:

    The required skills such as safely operating a forklift and managing inventory are essential for maintaining an efficient and safe workflow in the manufacturing environment. Painting skills, including manual dexterity and spray painting, are applied daily to ensure products meet quality and aesthetic standards.
