DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Operations Excellence Specialist – Senior to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Oshkosh, WI location.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
+ **Operations Excellence Expertise:** Apply deep knowledge of Operations Excellence principles and practices to lead improvements, develop manufacturing standards, and drive alignment with Cummins’ strategic roadmap.
+ **Continuous Improvement Leadership:** Utilize Lean tools and methodologies to identify opportunities, lead step-change improvements, and deliver measurable results across plant functions and processes.
+ **Strategic Planning and Execution:** Coordinate with business leaders and process owners to define plant maturity goals and execute the Corporate Operations Excellence Strategy to achieve them.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement and Coaching:** Influence and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing coaching and guidance to help them identify issues, prioritize initiatives, and implement solutions effectively.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Lead and support projects in a cross-functional environment, ensuring alignment across departments and driving performance in end-to-end value streams.
+ **Technical Problem Solving:** Provide solutions to complex manufacturing challenges by leveraging your experience, Lean background, and Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt).
+ **Knowledge Sharing and Capability Building:** Champion knowledge transfer and develop subject-matter expertise within the plant by mentoring others and supporting small sites new to Operations Excellence.
+ **Adaptability and Union Awareness:** Operate effectively in diverse environments, including unionized settings, and adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each plant or site.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including manufacturing or manufacturing plant experience, team leadership experience, preferred.
