Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Saw Shop Operator - 10 to join their team. As a Saw Shop Operator - 10, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate diligence, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Saw Shop Operator
**Location:** Henderson, Colorado
**Pay Rate:** $18.00/hour (Flat Rate)
**Schedule:** Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM, with occasional Saturday hours depending on workload

Job Summary
The Saw Shop Operator is responsible for setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wooden pallets. Candidates with previous experience in warehouse, lumber, carpentry, roofing, landscaping, logistics, or construction are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
+ Must be able to pass a UA drug test
+ Must have saw and tool skills
+ High school diploma or GED required; completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
+ Ability to work overtime as needed
+ Ability to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
+ Ability to repetitively lift 50–75 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing for entire shifts
+ Good sense of balance and eye-hand-foot coordination
+ Effective communication skills
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets
+ Maintain attention to detail and commitment to quality
+ Follow all safety rules and regulations
+ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required: eye protection, ear protection (mandatory at several locations), and safety shoes
+ Maintain proper vision abilities (close, distance, color vision)
Dress Code
+ Appropriate attire for warehouse work
+ No loose clothing: work shirts will be provided
+ Steel-toed shoes required
