    CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking aJunior Inspectorto join ourTransportation TeaminCharleston, SCwhere you’ll be at the forefront of construction projects—observing, documenting, and ensuring that highways, bridges, and more are built to the highest standards.     What You'll Do:

    + Observe and monitor the construction activities on highways, streets, bridges, and other structures and facilities for compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards

    + Record field observations, measurements, and computations to verify work performed

    + Prepare clear, detailed reports and maintain accurate project records

    + Coordinate or conduct quality assurance testing, inspections, and surveys

    What You Bring:

    + High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred

    + No prior experience required; prior construction or observation experience a plus

    + Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications; knowledge of construction techniques

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

    + Strong math, communication, and teamwork skills

    + Valid US driver’s license required with ability to travel

    Salary Range:

    $23.00 - $28.00

     

    Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
