    We are hiring A Tax Compliance Accountant. Full time- opening

    Tax Compliance Accountant Duties & Responsibilities:

    Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary Tax and Advisory team to complete monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual state sales, excise, direct shipment, and wholesale tax reports in accordance with state filing deadlines

     

    •

     

    Collaborate with leadership and clients to identify and resolve potential compliance related issues resulting from processing tax reports before being filed

     

    •

     

    Manually convert client invoices and prepare Wholesale tax reports for clients without a ShipCompliant Wholesale module account subscription

     

    •

     

    Perform administrative functions related to tax reports and label registrations processed (alphabetizing, sorting, scanning, filing, and uploading client files to Google Drive)

    Qualifications:

    •

     

    Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field or two or more years of relevant sales and excise tax return processing experience

     

    •

     

    Ability to complete a high volume of firm deadline-based tasks with strong attention to detail

     

    •

     

    Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines while working independently

     

    •

     

    Proficient in 10-Key typing

     

    •

     

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     

    •

     

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro

     

    •

     

    Eagerness and willingness to grow with a small firm from tax preparation responsibilities into other facets of the compliance business

    What you will receive:

    + **Weekly pay from $** **30.00hr**
