We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Analyst to serve as a key escalation point and strategic planner for the Futures & Options (F&O) Margin team at a major financial institution. In this vital role, you will be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring continuous adherence to collateral requirements, regulatory standards, and overall risk management. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in financial markets, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
+ Location:Hybrid in Chicago, IL
+ Pay Rate: $40.37 per hour
+ Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the Key Escalation Point for the F&O Margin team and the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
+ Monitor and manage the firm's collateralization requirements arising from counterparty trading activities with margin documentation.
+ Execute and process collateral substitutions, bookings, and releases (Pledged & Lodged) with counterparties.
+ Ensure all Client Margin Calls are covered daily; investigate and resolve all margin call discrepancies.
+ Identify and timely escalate fails to Credit/Risk Management, Collateral Risk Management, and Operations Management.
+ Manage and participate in strategic initiatives, including managing project timelines and providing strategic planning for the team.
+ Own the onboarding of new products and manage all aspects of industry initiatives.
+ Manage all risk aspects, including adherence to internal policies, procedures, external regulatory requirements, and managing internal/external audits.
+ Handle client trade and settlement queries daily, including the booking of FX transactions for the client base.
+ Participate in staff development and the appraisal process.
Qualifications (Required Skills):
+ Experience within the Financial Services / Banking industry is essential.
+ A good understanding of financial markets, with specific expertise in Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) / Futures & Options (F&O).
+ Minimum of 2 years of professional team experience.
+ Demonstrated strong controls background with previous experience implementing and maintaining key business controls.
+ Confident in facing off to senior stakeholders across the business (including Sales, Trading, Product Control, Credit, and Legal).
+ Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
+ Analytical, strong problem-solving abilities, and an unwavering attention to detail

**Pay Details:** $40.37 per hour
