Position Title: Project Schedulers
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Walsh Construction Company II seeks Project Schedulers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Organize, implement, and maintain construction project schedules. Ensure the realization of project contract requirements in accordance with established project control standards. Coordinate with project management and subcontractors to develop a baseline schedule. Prepare risk and impact assessments of schedule changes and present them to project team. Ensure project change orders and delays are documented, analyzed, and reviewed. Coordinate all project controls to assess risk in accordance with established best practices and standards. Lead project scheduling meetings. Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to be distributed to appropriate staff members. Technical environment: Primavera, progress schedule, total float, critical path, predecessors, successors, near critical paths, float trending, percent complete, float ownership, constraints, claims, time impact analysis, forecasting, change orders, payment applications & Bluebeam.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience in construction management/engineering required. Required skills: Primavera, progress schedule, total float, critical path, predecessors, successors, near critical paths, float trending, percent complete, float ownership, constraints, claims, time impact analysis, forecasting, change orders, payment applications, Bluebeam. $96,637-$133,000/yr.
