Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance efforts and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. This role involves overseeing the company's Quality Management System, managing audits, and driving quality initiatives across departments. You will be responsible for maintaining quality documentation, developing testing and inspection procedures, and ensuring product quality from raw materials to finished goods.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee quality checks before products leave the facility and inspect incoming products from customers.

+ Coordinate quality activities and participate as a part of the Sr. staff.

+ Conduct ISO 9001:2015 audits and ensure compliance.

+ Track KPIs monthly and address non-conformances.

+ Manage scrap numbers and work closely with the molding department to minimize scrap during production startup.

+ Lead a team of 4 direct reports, including 3 quality techs on first shift and 1 quality tech on second shift.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in a related industrial, scientific, or business field.

+ 5-8 years of related experience in manufacturing and production with an emphasis on Quality Management Systems.

+ Experience with ISO audit and ISO 9001 standards.

+ Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong interpersonal, leadership, management, and communication skills.

+ Thorough understanding of quality control standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Professional certifications in quality management.

+ Experience with ERP systems.

+ Experience in plastic injection molding.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with other departments to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with quality protocols. The position involves leading a team across multiple shifts, with a focus on minimizing scrap during production.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Caledonia, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
