Job Title:** **Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant operations by ensuring a continuous flow of quality energy. This role involves monitoring and maintaining energy systems, performing water treatment duties, and conducting light maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
+ Control energy systems and maintain steam pressure for plant operations.
+ Perform water treatment duties and monitor processes to ensure clean water.
+ Sample or test processes and adjust treatment as needed.
+ Conduct general housekeeping and light maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Production and assembly experience.
+ Background in agriculture, farming, or construction.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
+ Familiarity with construction and preventive maintenance practices.
Additional Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 1+ year of forklift experience.
+ 2+ years of manufacturing or farm-related experience

Work Environment
+ Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
+ Exposure to chemicals, pressurized steam, dust, heat, noise, and fumes.
+ Confined space work required.
+ Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM, rotating day and night schedule.
+ Dress Code: Casual; uniforms and steel-toed boots provided after start, along with all required safety equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nevada, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
