Job Title: Facilities and Maintenance Technician II
Job Description
The Facilities and Maintenance Technician II plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional operation of commercial and industrial facility equipment. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and completing repairs to maintain optimal functionality and reliability.
Responsibilities
+ Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment in compliance with safety standards.
+ Quickly resolve mechanical, electrical, and light plumbing issues.
+ Maintain and repair dock doors and related systems to ensure operational integrity.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders, providing timely updates on work progress.
+ Demonstrate strong follow-through and accountability for assigned tasks.
+ Embrace a 'flow-to-the-work' concept, supporting cross-training initiatives and adapting to varying maintenance needs.
+ Exhibit an ownership mindset, taking pride in quality workmanship and proactive problem-solving.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in facility maintenance, including light plumbing and dock door repair.
+ Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial equipment.
+ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
+ Commitment to safety and adherence to company standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
+ Experience in cross-functional maintenance tasks.

Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing setting with day shifts from 7 am to 5 pm. The position requires engagement with a variety of tasks involving plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and material handling equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paris, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
