Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Shift: 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $28-36/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and industrial equipment. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in machinery and control systems, as well as installing, testing, and commissioning new electrical components and systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation, while ensuring compliance with NEC, IEC, and other applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

+ Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and industrial equipment.

+ Diagnose and repair electrical issues in machinery and control systems.

+ Install, test, and commission new electrical components and systems.

+ Maintain and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.

+ Work with PLCs (e.g., Siemens), VFDs, motors, relays, and other automation systems.

+ Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and other applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

+ Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to enhance equipment functionality.

+ Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.

+ Document maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

+ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.

+ Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.

+ Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and codes.

+ Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v.

+ Proficiency in computer skills for documentation purposes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with project work and light manufacturing.

+ Open to performing preventive maintenance work.

+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical, wiring, and mechanical issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $72800.00/yr.
