Aircraft Mechanic – A&P Maintenance Technician** **( Reach out to Duke if qualified and interested: 631/513/1840)

**Aviotec** , a fast-growing aircraft maintenance provider based in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a motivated and qualified **Aircraft Mechanic** to join our team.

This role focuses on servicing a variety of piston aircraft and ensuring all work meets FAA and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

+ Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively on technical issues

+ Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on piston aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, FARs, ADs, and manufacturer guidelines

+ Ensure aircraft are returned to service in airworthy condition

+ Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, repair records, and required paperwork

+ Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to maintain a professional environment

+ Complete work efficiently and on schedule, maintaining high standards of quality

+ Research and request necessary parts to meet repair timelines

+ Review service bulletins, service letters, and ADs to support estimates and maintenance decisions

Required Skills

+ Piston aircraft maintenance

+ A&P certification (Airframe & Powerplant license)

+ Inspection Authorization (IA) knowledge

+ Troubleshooting and repair expertise

+ Experience with aircraft such as Cessna, King Air, Falcon, and corporate aircraft

+ Line maintenance proficiency

Qualifications

+ Piston aircraft experience required

+ Certified A&P mechanic with hands-on troubleshooting experience

+ Ability to work at heights and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
