    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a Tax Staff for a well-established company in the Greater Baltimore area. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 0–2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative environment. My client is unable to sponsor at this time, and you must be willing to work in the greater Baltimore area 3 days per week.     Responsibilities

    + Prepare work papers for federal, state, and local income tax returns

    + Assist with consolidated and separate income tax filings

    + Support quarterly and year-end tax provision analysis

    + Develop tax forecasts based on budgets and projections

    + Research tax positions and assist with audits

    + Stay current on tax legislation

    + Participate in special projects as needed

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

    + 0–2 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax

    + CPA preferred; MST a plus

    + Knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP principles

    + Strong Excel skills; familiarity with tax compliance software preferred

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills
