Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial processes, including billing, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions.

• Perform bank account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Handle billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

• Oversee accounts payable functions, including vendor payments and expense tracking.

• Collaborate with team members to meet monthly and annual closing deadlines.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial records and streamline processes.

• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including billing, accounts payable, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes.

• Experience with bank account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret and utilize financial data.

• Familiarity with accounting standards and practices.
