    Job Title: Financial AccountantJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to analyze and communicate financial information that contributes to the reporting and control functions. You will play a crucial role in developing, analyzing, and reviewing accounting procedures to ensure the integrity of information and protection of capital.

    Responsibilities

    + Research and correct large volumes of tax requests, approximately 50 – 55 per day.

    + Manage increased volumes of 1099 tax requests and provide necessary corrections.

    + Assist in responding to high volumes of tax requests efficiently.

    + Process Excel spreadsheets documenting transactions and tax forms needing correction.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in general ledger management.

    + Experience in tax research and general accounting.

    + Familiarity with preparing W2/1099-R tax forms.

    + Competency in using tax software.

    + Proficient with Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office applications.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

    + 5+ years of experience in relevant tax form preparation.

    Work Environment

    The position is based onsite at the downtown location. The Accounting Operations team is a diverse group, consisting of multiple teams located in Des Moines, Charlotte, and Pune, India. You will be part of the Accounting Ops team in Des Moines/Charlotte, with regular interactions with members from other teams, including the PGS team.

    This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
