    What You Can Expect

     

    Responsible for all activities required to fabricate, reproduce, or modify tooling, fixtures, gauges, existing parts or products as assigned by the supervisor.

    + Work from sketches, prints, models, or verbal instruction by utilizing sophisticated metal and plastic working equipment.

    What Makes You Stand Out

     

    + Attention to detail

    + Working knowledge of stainless steel, titanium, Zimaloy, UHMPWE plastic, ceramics, cold and hot rolled steel, brass, tool steels, aluminum, rubber, and castings.

    + A good working knowledge of CNC equipment as well as conventional metal cutting, grinding, and plastic working equipment.

    + Capable of laying out work in the most cost-effective manner from the information available.

    + Capable of working in a team based environment.

     

    Your Background

     

    + Completion of a Tool & Die degree (Associates) with 3 yrs of relevant tool making experience.

    + 6 yrs of hands on Toolmaking Experience

    + A four year approved Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program is approved

     

    Travel Expectations

     

    + <5%
