    We are seeking a motivated Part-Time Associate Chemist / Lab Technician to support our formulation and materials testing efforts. This role is ideal for a new chemistry graduate or a current chemistry student seeking hands-on R&D experience in an industrial laboratory environment. You will be contributing to ongoing research, sample testing, and formulation development projects.

    Part time Associate Chemist/Lab Technician

    Pay: 23.00-24.00 Per hour

     

    + Conduct bench-top laboratory experiments and assist with formulation development.

    + Prepare trial formulations and generate samples for testing.

    + Perform wet chemistry, materials characterization, and other analytical tests.

    + Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to support project objectives.

    + Document procedures, observations, and results with exceptional accuracy.

    + Help identify preferred formulations (“recipes”) and draft standardized procedures.

    + Maintain lab equipment, manage chemical inventory, and support general lab upkeep.

    + Assist in troubleshooting test methods, processes, or instrumentation issues.

    + Collaborate with the team on ongoing R&D initiatives.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, **or** current student working toward a B.S. in Chemistry.

    Required:

    + Hands-on laboratory experience, including wet chemistry and handling lab equipment.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret test results.

    + High attention to detail and commitment to accurate, thorough documentation.

    + Competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Ability to work independently while also contributing in a collaborative environment.

    Additional Advantage:

    + Prior experience in formulation, analytical chemistry, polymer/materials testing, or similar lab work.

    + Gain direct mentorship from a senior scientist with decades of industrial R&D experience.

    + Build practical, industry-relevant chemistry skills.
