Job Title: Animal Technician

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $21 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 7am to 3:30pm

Requirements:

- Minimum of High School Diploma

- Exp. with care of Animals (mice and rats)

- Minimal animal handling

- Willing to consider recent graduates who want to work with animals and in a lab setting!!

•Nice to Haves”:

- 1+ yrs. animal husbandry/care experience

- Experience in a research animal care facility

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Perform animal husbandry tasks

+ Provide research support services

+ Will provide food and water to animals

+ Evaluate animal’s health and assess animals for behavioral problems

+ Provide facility maintenance and sanitation
