Responsibilities
+ **Safety:**
+ Ensure personal safety and safety of fellow employees.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS directives.
+ Ensure adherence to plant & department safety policies.
+ Maintain front-line leader responsibilities.
+ Maintain a clean work area in maintenance areas and during maintenance activities.
+ **Leadership and Development:**
+ Provide direct leadership to team of Thermoform Automation Maintenance Technicians on assigned shift.
+ Direct maintenance activities on assigned shift to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of associated equipment.
+ Mentor, coach, and assist with training of newer and experienced team members.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable programs, policies and procedures.
+ Monitor employee performance and address as needed.
+ Communicate relevant information and activity status with department leadership and team members.
+ Address root causes of mistakes and implement corrective actions.
+ **Technical Support and Troubleshooting:**
+ Troubleshoot equipment to resolve functionality or performance issues.
+ Assume control of machines in situations with potential for injury or rapid deterioration.
+ Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
+ Requisition, procure, and locate parts required for repairs or projects.
+ Research and resolve technical issues.
+ Facilitate preventive maintenance and WIP programs to drive equipment reliability.
+ Assist other departments to resolve disruptions to safety, quality, or production.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
+ Proven experience in a maintenance role.
+ Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
+ Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
+ Strong understanding of automation equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proven dependability, reliability, and multitasking abilities.
+ Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
+ Specific knowledge of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
+ Proficient computer skills.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Essential Physical Qualifications:
+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
+ Tolerance to work around grease, oils, inks, and solvents.
+ Ability to climb ladders and use necessary tools and equipment for repairs.
+ Capability to stand, walk, bend, or stoop throughout the shift.
+ Good manual dexterity.
+ 20/20 vision with correction to detect minor defects.
+ Ability to differentiate colors.
