Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 3 years related experience.
Position Purpose:
Coordinate with engineering, operation, finance and purchasing to develop estimates of the interior completion cost of an aircraft. Review completion customer specifications to determine the cost of the interior and prepare a pricing proposal for marketing to deliver to the customer. Review work change requests and estimate the cost and incremental pricing required. to incorporate the change. Develop and maintain the budget hour log for each aircraft and communicate to operations as required. Perform analytical projects as required, including monitoring the actual cost of aircraft interiors against the quoted cost to update baseline specifications.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
+ Develop hours and cost estimates for customer aircraft interior specifications, based on an analysis of the baseline quote for the configuration, as updated for customer selections of options, selections and customization as defined in specification and design documents. Develop pricing proposals and work with completion sales executives to establish agreed upon final pricing and chargeable items for presentation to customer.
+ Process work change requests for aircraft in work, and provide an estimated cost and sell to be submitted to the customer for approval as a change to the aircraft specification.
+ Perform business case analysis by aircraft for work to be outsourced, for presentation to completion center management.
+ Log and track quote adjustments.
+ Update current pricing tools to reflect estimated labor rates, overheads, and below line expenses.
+ Prepare invoices, status reports, schedules, estimates, and financial analysis as required.
Additional Functions:
+ Attend team meetings for Final Phase baseline changes and prepare necessary business cases as needed. .
+ Communicate with Final Phase team leads for constant awareness of build processes. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
+ Must have strong PC skills and be a strong user of Microsoft Access and Excel.
+ Must have systems aptitude sufficient to master additional tools as introduced into the environment.
A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
