Job Description
Primary Responsibilities: The Salesforce Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions. This role involves working with product managers, owners, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable and sustainable technical solutions. The Salesforce Architect ensures the integrity of the Salesforce platform and integrates with other systems to support organizational goals.
Skills & Competencies:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
+ Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with Salesforce, including hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, solution design, and development.
+ Proven experience in full lifecycle Salesforce implementations.
+ Strong understanding of Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other relevant solutions.
+ Experience with integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft).
+ Experience in the real estate industry preferred.
+ Deep understanding of data structures, data mapping, and data types, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and accurate data models.
+ Knowledge of data modeling, security, and Salesforce best practices.
+ Salesforce Field Service Consultant, Agentforce Specialist preferred.
+ Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant Required
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and design effective solutions.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
+ Experience providing technical direction and guidance to contractors and cross-functional teams.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
+ Ability to partner with external consultants to execute on initiatives within Salesforce.
+ The position is located at the firm’s headquarters in Charleston, SC. Working from home is permissible.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Develop and maintain high-level and detailed designs for Salesforce solutions, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
+ Provide architectural guidance and oversight to development teams during the implementation phase.
+ Engage with product managers/owners, business stakeholders to collaborate on requirements and understand strategic goals.
+ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
+ Lead technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, including custom development, integration with external systems, and data migration.
+ Ensure best practices in coding, design, and security are followed.
+ Oversee the management of Salesforce environments, including development, testing, and production.
+ Ensure effective performance, scalability, and security of the Salesforce platform.
+ Establish and enforce best practices for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Salesforce code, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development languages.
+ Ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards and development frameworks.
+ Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and scalability requirements.
+ Implement automated testing strategies (unit tests, integration tests) to validate code functionality and performance.
+ Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and other tools.
+ Ensure data integrity and seamless data flow across systems.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Salesforce solutions, including architectural diagrams, data models, and configuration guides.
+ Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical teams.
+ Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends.
+ Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionalities to improve business processes.

Key Metrics
System Uptime & Reliability: Maintain 99.9%+ uptime; minimize incident resolution time. Performance: Ensure fast page loads, efficient API calls, and smooth data processing. Development Efficiency: Track number of releases, feature delivery speed, and code quality. Security & Compliance: Address security vulnerabilities; ensure audit and legal compliance. User Satisfaction: Improve user adoption and reduce post-deployment support tickets. Cost Efficiency: Optimize workflows and reduce technical debt.
Responsibilities
Architecture & Design: Create scalable Salesforce solutions and integrate with external systems. Development: Lead development of custom apps, workflows, and automations. Platform Management: Monitor platform performance, manage deployments, and enforce governance. Security: Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with regulations. Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders and provide technical leadership. Optimization: Continuously improve system performance and reduce technical debt. Documentation & Training: Maintain documentation and provide training to teams.
Physical Requirements
+ Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
+ Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
+ Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
+ Position may involve sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
+ Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
+ Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.

+ Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.
+ Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting from the proper performance of duties.
