    Job Description

    Insight Global oversees a program with this client that is dedicated to AI discovery that will further technological advancements across the organization.

     

    Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Software and Data Engineer to support a leading technology client in advancing cutting-edge AI research. Working on AI Projects to improve product space. This is a team of 2-3 Engineers with a Tech Lead and Research Scientist.

    Responsibilities:

    • Working on a research team to help train AI models to improve AI video/image understanding. This person will partner with data annotation team on model performance and benchmarking.

    • Building evaluation sets for data models made by partner researchers and being used by data annotation team.

    • Will be working within SQL tables, creating python scripts on top of the data for evaluation, and running gemini on models for performance tracking.

    • Using Python to create auto evaluations and run metrics, will be creating new tooling and automation, using Hive tables and Notebooks.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 4+ years as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer responsible for creating automation tools with Python to create data evaluations. Must be proficient in Python

    • Experience working with data annotation teams to analyze data models and performance tracking.

    • SQL experience.

    • Experience with Hive Tables and data science Notebooks • Experience with Dagquery

    • Experience in Flask framework
