• Business Analyst/Tech Writer

    Job Description

    Our client in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Business Analyst with technical writing skills. As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for working on scraping their Salesforce CRM and replacing with a proprietary homegrown grants system. This team focuses on shared services applications including executive support, IG (inspector general), general counsel and incident reporting. The organization has researched off the shelf grants management system for federal reporting but haven't found a product in the market to handle the complexities of their cost application model. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

     

    • Define scope, gather and prioritize requirements

    • Draft functional design documents to capture technical specifications and business process workflows for agency projects

    • Sprint management, issue tracking, and facilitating Agile project development for timely delivery

    • Use Microsoft O365 tools to document processes, prepare presentations, and communicate updates with stakeholders effectively

    • Collaborate with state agency teams to align the project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring successful implementation

    • Conduct comprehensive system integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between Salesforce and agency existing enterprise systems

    • Workflow design, test planning, writing tech documentation

    • Create use cases, activity diagrams, user stories, ER diagrams, etc.

    • Support QA, troubleshoot issues, draft system documentation

    • Plan and lead UAT, meetings, rollout activities, and change management

    • Facilitate extensive user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions to validate application and project functionalities with end-user requirements

    • Participate in stakeholder review sessions to gather input for refining configurations

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5-7 years as a Business Analyst

    • Technial writing experience

    • Strong end-user interaction

    • Proven track record of successful integration testing and migration documentation

    • Strong financial management experience • Financial services industry experience

    • Government/SLED work
