    Description

    What will you do?

     

    + Batch, mix, and route feed according to specified formulas and procedures.

    + Properly weigh all premix and short mix additions per established formulas.

    + Monitor product quality and adjust equipment accordingly. (particle/pellet size and quality)

    + Monitor drug inventory usage in accordance with FDA regulations.

    + Accurately complete and maintain assigned reports, logs, and documents.

    + Communicate and coordinate batching schedule and production with appropriate personnel to maximize total plant efficiency.

    + Follow GMP’s, Quality Control Manual, and established plant procedures while monitoring the process for finished bulk and bagged feeds.

    + Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping.

    + Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have:

    + Must have a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.

    + Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.

    + Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.

    Other Skills that will help you succeed:

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and related experience and/or training.

    + Obtain a Class A CDL with required endorsements.
