    A friendly family in Greenwich Village, NY is seeking an experienced Part-Time Housekeeper to care for their 5,000sf home. The home includes two children (ages 10 and 13) and two cats, so a child-friendly and pet-friendly demeanor is important. The position begins mid-January and requires someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

    Responsibilities:

    + Daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping

    + Laundry and linen care (washing, folding, ironing, organizing)

    + Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the home

    + Light meal prep or kitchen cleanup as needed

    + Care for two cats (feeding, litter box maintenance)

    + Keeping household supplies stocked and notifying the family when replenishment is needed

    + Organizing projects

    Qualifications:

    + Comfortable around school-aged children and pets

    + Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

    + Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

    + Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy

    + Excellent, verifiable references

     

    Schedule: Two days per week (specific days to be coordinated with the family)

     

    Start date: Mid-January

     

    Salary: $40–$45 per hour
