The Custodial Technician (C-Tech) is responsible for:

+ Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the school

+ Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members of the school community

+ Collaborating with the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) to develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning plans for the building and grounds

+ Executing the cleaning plans

+ Restocking bathroom supplies

+ Removing trash and recycling from the building

+ Responding to urgent custodial needs in a timely fashion

+ Assisting with cafeteria services and cleaning, as needed

+ Working occasional weekends and vacation periods

+ Taking on other tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance and Operations

Position Requirements:

+ Belief in the mission and values of Crescent City Schools

+ At least two years of experience as a custodian or janitor

+ Experience in schools and/or around school-aged children preferred

Physical Requirements

+ Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, bend, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

+ Position involves daily exposure to cleaning agents, including bleach

+ This is an in-person role
