    PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to support a critical production program in San Antonio, TX—and we’re looking for a skilled **Material Coordinator** to help keep operations running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time, directly supporting production schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments.

     

    About the Role

     

    As a Material Coordinator, you will manage and control materials throughout the production lifecycle. Your work will ensure uninterrupted manufacturing flow, accurate inventory, and on-time delivery—making you an essential contributor to program success in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

    Job Details

    + **Job Type:** Full-Time Consultant (6-month assignment)

    + **Location:** San Antonio, TX

    + **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 4th shift (rotating); must be open to 1st and 2nd shifts. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

    + **Pay Rate:** $27.22/hour

    What You’ll Do Day to Day

    + Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies across departments to meet production schedules

    + Receive, inspect, verify, store, issue, and ship materials in accordance with company and customer requirements

    + Track inventory using computerized inventory or warehouse management systems

    + Review production schedules and collaborate with supervisors to identify material needs or shortages

    + Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, tow motors, and barcode systems

    + Prepare materials for storage or shipment, including kitting and hazardous material handling

    + Perform inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report damage or deterioration

    + Ensure compliance with safety, FOD, tool control, housekeeping, and inventory control requirements

    + Support problem-solving related to material availability, schedules, and cost control

    Required Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + 2–3 years of experience with stockroom or crib procedures

    + 3+ years of experience using a computer-based inventory or warehouse management system

    + Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    + 1+ year of experience managing aspects of Government property

    + Ability to support rotating shifts and maintain regular, predictable attendance

    + Ability to use warehouse and material-handling equipment **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience supporting aerospace or manufacturing programs

    + Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and compliance

    + Experience with production control or materials planning environments

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (team lifts may be required for heavier items)

    + Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and working on ladders or elevated platforms

    + Ability to work in confined spaces and noisy environments

    + Use of required personal protective equipment

    + Ability to read, write, and comprehend English

    **Pay Details:** $27.22 per hour
