The Opportunity:
As a Research Data Analyst, you will Support the collection, management,
organization, and storage of electronic and hard copy data associated with all aspects of HDD information analysis. Research Data Analysts perform statistical analysis with the aid of analytical and statistical computing software/platforms. Research Data Analysts coordinate and conduct research projects and relay findings through written reports, tables, graphs, and briefings to inform leaders and discission makers within the SOF community. Research Data Analysts participate in program evaluations by attending and/or observing instruction and field operations to recommend revisions and ensure current academic literature, findings, and best practices of adult education and organizational performance are implemented and included in curricula and curriculum
development.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage, maintain, organize and catalog data collection databases.
+ Perform data entry.
+ Perform routine clerical and administrative requirements associated with cataloging, organizing, and storage of physical data and/or documentation.
+ Use statistical analysis, analytical, and statistical computing software/platforms to perform statistical analysis.
+ Summarize analysis, results, findings in written and/or oral reports, manuscripts, briefings, and presentations.
+ Conduct internet, web-based, and library research.
+ Perform systems evaluations and recommend actions to improve and/or correct performance related goals.
+ Collaborate with multi-service, joint, federal, and/or designated organizations to share, research, and implement best practices of learning and performance theory into practical application.
+ Conduct, coordinate, and monitor research projects.
+ Collaborate with Mental Performance Coaches, Interpersonal Performance Coaches, and Physiotherapist to ensure incorporation of current literature, studies, findings, and best practices in curricula.
+ Conduct program evaluations, revisions, and recommendations through observation of program instruction, exercises, and field operations.
Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ Secret Security Clearance.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, computer science, or related field.
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis
+ Proven experience with statistical software and data visualization tools.
_Desired:_
+ Master’s degree Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, computer science, or related field.
+ Experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
+ Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,100 - $147,400
