Collins Aerospace have a high visibility opportunity for a 1st shift Production Supervisor with the A320neo Value Stream. Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of 20-30 employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production.
You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. Engage in daily interaction with other functions and maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using lean methodologies which are critical performance criteria for this position.
This position will be located onsite in Foley, AL. Relocation assistance is available.

What You Will Do
+ Employee hiring and training.
+ Time and attendance tracking.
+ Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.
+ Operate to leadership standard work
+ Ensure your team are working safely and are compliant to the site EHS policy
+ Meet the required operational business targets working to TAKT times to satisfy customer requirements
+ Ensure TPM and 5S activity is carried out
+ Control Inventory and line side consumables
+ Lead Tiered meetings, follow the escalation process and support Real Time Problem Resolution initiatives
+ Manage absence and conduct absence reviews
+ Be trained to cover operations in times of absence or urgent customer requirements
+ Other ongoing responsibilities will be:
+ Compile and review metrics daily
+ Record QCPC turnback data, Pareto, and support improvement activity
+ Plan team member development and maintain versatility matrix.
+ Track Kaizen activity and support team members to implement.
+ Support Values Stream / EH&S Manager with accident/near miss investigation
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
+ Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
+ Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.
+ Experience of working in assembly operations
+ Clear demonstration of management and leadership skills
+ Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement
+ Experience working in a fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks and keeping organized.
+ Experience working with deadlines and delivering production and quality targets
+ Comfortable working under pressure with a can-do attitude
+ Effective and clear communication to key stakeholders

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
