    Job Summary and Qualifications

    Implementations Oversight/Project Management

    + Comprehensive knowledge of implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR), MEDITECH; various Platforms.

    + Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.” Including maintaining strict confidentiality.

    + Able to assess project scope deliverables, analyze level of effort, identify project requirements and develop statement of work; strategically resource needs for advanced/complex projects.

    + Able to coordinate, delegate, and provide project oversight for multiple projects occurring simultaneously.

    + Able to lead teams during project planning, assessment/workflow process, direct build progress of teams (or own team), coordinate testing plans and events, go live activities, support, and optimization.

    + Management of resource utilization and project assignments, prioritization of task and allocation of resources to meet deadlines

    + Leads and engage others in project management process, including: issue & risk management, project plan management, conversion management, communications, equipment evaluation and status reporting.

    + Able to assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change across the department.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service focus, is able to work independently or on a project team.

    + Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions through the assessment process with the ability to document and present client facing materials.

    + Provide oversite to teams on client deliverables including, but not limited to: project documentation, status reports, client presentations, etc.

    + Able to engage with multiple interdepartmental resources to assist client to meet strategic requirements. Develop internal training, knowledge share content.

    + Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with task identification and documentation.

    + May drive or participate to incorporate Lessons Learned into department practice/methodology, including process improvement.

    + Must be able to display a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and work in a professional and client focused environment.

    + Remain billable to clients and client projects for no less than 25%, in order to stay current with: MEDITECH certifications, application / industry knowledge, and healthcare IT’s organizational direction. Performs other duties as assigned

    Resource & Practice Management

    + Conducts career planning, training, mentoring, staff development, regular performance reviews and discussion.

    + Coordinate with Clinical sourcing management the collaboration of contractors (TempW2s) (screening, interviewing, placement, onboarding, performance management) for commercial projects and clients.

    + Approving timesheets, expense reports, and other duties to support staff.

    + Conducts staff meetings, present monthly operational review for executive leadership, 1:1 engagement with FTES and Temp W2s.

    + Develops, implements and evaluates programs to promote the recruitment, retention and continuing education of staff.

    + Independently monitors own work and work of others for accuracy and thoroughness.

    + Mentors others for documentation accuracy, leading through mentorship. Independently and within teams is able to share knowledge to project teams, clients and drive the process change with clients and within a team.

    + Act as a solution leader to identify cost reduction opportunities.

    + Knowledge of working with budgetary goals for multiple lines of business; participate in profit/loss review, and tracking of financial projections.

    + Supports Business Development, Sales, and Marketing efforts as required to build and grow the Line of Business and the Commercial Practice.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Bachelors Degree

    + Five or more years of experience in Hospital Operations preferred

    + Ten or more years in Meditech Operations

    + Five or more years of experience in a management or Consulting role.

    Licenses, Certifications, and Training

    + Proficient in one or more HCIS system module (PCS, Pharmacy, SUR, EDM, OM, HIM, and/or Patient Safety, etc.) Required

    + Certifications with MEDITECH EHR systems/applications – MEDITECH Alliance certifications required or completed within 6 months of hire Required

    + Management certification, degree or experience for 1+ years. Required

    + Proven track record of successful MEDITECH implementations (Magic, C/S, or Expanse). Required

    + Project Management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt Certification Preferred

    + Healthcare license preferred. Pharmacy/Clinical Specialty (Nursing, RT, PhaTech, PT, RHITT, HIM etc.) Preferred

    + Expert ability to work in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point Preferred

    Position may require 76% or more of travel
