Job Summary

Registered Technologist with both administrative and clinical accountability to designated service area. Work with the Director of Imaging Services to plan budget, workflow and staffing needs. Implements / updates department specific policies, procedures and standards with adherence to facility, state, federal and Joint Commission criteria. Provide leadership in development, optimization, and application of system protocols. Communicates on a daily basis all staff and patient related issues or problems that occur. Provide direction/action to ensure excellence in image quality and patient care employing technique that is both appropriate to patient age and clinical condition.

+ **Demonstrates critical thinking skills and leadership in planning, directing and provision of care to patients in accordance with hospital/department policies and procedures.**

+ **Maintains supply/inventory control.**

+ **Assist with Quality Control to identify areas of improvement and implement steps to enhance quality throughout the Department.**

+ **Assists the Director of Imaging Services with staff recruitment, selection, and staff recognition.**

+ **Assist with staff scheduling and patient coordination is maintained at all times.**

+ **Ensures proper system maintenance, operation and care.**

+ **Fosters staff development, teamwork, and effective communication.**

What qualifications you will need:

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ Associate Degree

+ (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

+ Minimum 3 years experience required
