Job Summary and Qualifications

TheFacilityDirector of Medical StaffServicesassists theChief Medical Officer, Assistant Chief Medical Officer and/ orChief Executive Officerwithimplementation of and compliance withcredentialing initiatives/processes. Theincumbentisexpectedto maintain a working knowledge of applicable HCAHealthcareand Parallon Credentialing Processing Center (CPC) policies, accreditation standards and regulations associated with medical staff services,and play a key role in the integrationofHCA Clinical Strategiesand HCA systems.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Bachelor’sdegree inhealthcare management,business, or related field of study or an equivalent combination of training and experience required

+ Minimumof 5 years comprehensive credentialing experience in an acute care hospital or CVO setting

+ Certified Professional Medical Services Management and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist required within 2 years of hire date in role
