    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The ACSO is responsible for administration and organization of staffing and labor in the facility. The ASCO follows federal, state and local standards to assure the highest degree Satisfaction for the hospital. Ensures the highest quality of service, customer satisfaction and compliance will all hospital guidelines. Regularly meets with the CFO to ensure quality standards are being met. Must be able to motivate, train, and coach a large and diverse staff.

    What you will do in this role:

    + Maintain responsibility for all staffing, scheduling, and maintaining of rigorous training.

    + Develop and maintain job descriptions of staff in coordination with senior management.

    + Participate in and encourage staff to participate in education programs and in-service training.

    + Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

    + Control expenses within area of responsibility.

    + Evaluate and justify supplies, equipment, and purchases as needed.

    + Coordinate environmental operations with other departments.

    + Communicate with administration concerns, issues, variances.

    + Establish work standards and workflow within productivity guidelines.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or minimum of 5 years management level experience required.

    + NEHA certification preferred.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in management/supervision; preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.

    + Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff, including administration.

    + Must exhibit strong skills in both oral and written communication.

    + Must exhibit high energy and motivation to in turn motivate staff.

    + Must be very well organized.
